Q: Are there specific dates when Viva Institute's courses are held? 

A: Yes. All of Viva Institute's courses are offered on a rotating basis throughout the year, and some are offered as Self Study. Check the courses page for listings.

Q: Do I need to be available at a specific time to take a course?

A: No. That's the great thing about learning through Viva Institute. The course content will be available on the first day of class. Courses are designed to work with your schedule. Login anytime that's convenient for you - day or night, 24-7.

Q: Will I need any special equipment to take the class?

A: Other than a desktop computer, iPhone, or iPad, you won't need any special equipment to take a course at Viva Institute.

Q: Am I _______ enough?"

A; Whatever your "blank" is, the answer is YES. Wherever you are on your path, it is enough, and you are enough. We'll help you take it from here.

Q: How do I register for a class?" 

A: First, click the course you want to take, and register. You will be prompted to create a Profile username to Register.

Next, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your account. (Note: AOL, hotmail, and yahoo users, please check your spam folder. If you don't receive your confirmation email within 60 minutes, please email [email protected] so that we can assist you with completing the registration process.)

After you have confirmed your account, you will be taken to the Checkout page, where you can "Place Order."

Q: How do I access the course?

A: The course content will be available on the course start date. Using the Sign In button at the top right of the website, enter the username and password you entered when you created a Profile. Then click on the course name in the courses page of your student Dashboard and scroll down to see the course outline. Welcome to the class! 

Viva Institute's 60-minute teleseminars are live lectures with your course instructor, which give an opportunity to connect with the instructor, your classmates, and to ask questions live. The content for each Zoom call is course-specific. Participants can participate by phone or webinar using any web browser.

Q: Are there specific times for Zoom Calls?

A: Most of our courses include teleseminars that are scheduled at prearranged times, which you will receive by email after registering for the course. If you're unable to attend live, you can submit your questions in advance and listen to the recording of the call later.

Q: Do I need a Facebook account to enroll in a course?

A: A social media account is not a requirement of taking any of Viva Institute's courses. If you’ve resisted social media so far and don’t want to change that, we keep you connected through live teleseminars, private communities, and weekly emails. 

Q: What do I need to do to prepare for the class?

A: Add Viva Institute to your contact list, and watch your inbox for emails. The class begins on the start date provided on the course listing. [/toggle]

Q: How do I communicate with the instructor?

A: On the day your course begins, you will receive an email of introduction to the course. Throughout the course, you will receive additional emails notifying you of teleseminar times and dates. Be sure to check your email and junk mail on the scheduled course start date.

Q: What if I have questions about the course I've enrolled in?

A: Write to us at [email protected]. You will receive an invitation to this group on the first day of class.

Q: What is your refund policy? All refunds must be requested using Viva Institute's Request for Refund Form within 48 hours of the course start time (9 am EST Monday), no exceptions. Viva values your place in our community, and we want this to be the right fit for you. After you've previewed all course content, if you believe that we haven't lived up to our promise for this course, please submit your refund request using this form

This firm deadline exists because when you register for a class, we want you to get the most out of it, right from the start. Course credits are unavailable, and course fees are non-transferable. If you're not satisfied with what you're seeing, submit your refund request within 48 hours of the course start time (9am EST Monday) and we will happily refund 100% of your course fee. 

Q: What happens after the course ends?

A: You will continue to have access to the course materials and Zoom recordings for an additional 14-30 days after the course ends—14 days for one-time events, and 30 days for multi-week courses. 

Most people take several classes throughout the year, and we are always adding new courses. We hope you'll join us again in the future!
